Playing Teen Patti Online

Teen Patti can be played online to win real cash at some of the betting sites we have recommended.

In order to make it easier for our readers to choose which variant of Teen Patti to play, we have reviewed it in detail and created a video review of it as well.

Teen Patti by Super Spade Games

This is a classic version of Teen Patti with hand rankings as defined. Rather than playing against the dealer, the game is played between 2 Players, Player A and Player B, and you have to decide which player is going to win.

There are 6 Options available:

  1. You can choose to Bet on Player A winning
  2. You can choose to Bet on Player B winning
  3. You can choose a Tie, and the payout will be made if both Player A and Player B have same hand rankings

Besides the bets above, there are 3 side bets available:

  1. You can bet on Pair+ for Player A cards
  2. You can bet on Pair+ for Player B cards

By placing a Pair+ bet, you, all hand rankings above Pair are paid out

  1. You can also choose to make a 6-Card bet. Once 3 cards are dealt to both player A and player B, best of 5 cards are chosen. Any hand ranking above Three of a Kind get paid

Teen Patti by Ezuigi

This variant of Teen Patti is different, and is more similar to Three Card Poker. The player plays against the dealer.

On placing an initial “Ante” bet, 3 cards are dealt to the player and to the dealer. You can decide to go with continuing through, in which you make a “Play” bet. Or, you can choose to forfeit the initial Ante if you decide not to continue the game.

Dealer qualifies with a criteria as mentioned on the table.

Side Bets can also be made before the start of the play for additional winnings.

Ranking of Hands

In order to successfully play Teen Patti and even win, a player must know the ranking of hands. In other words, they must know what card combinations present a strong hand and what combinations are likely to lose. Below you can find the ranking from highest to lowest alongside short explanations of each hand:

  • Three of a kind (Trio or Trail) – just like the name suggests, this hand is made of three same cards like, for example, three fours or three Queens. The highest such combination is three Aces, whereas the lowest is three twos
  • Straight flush (Pakki Round) – poker fans know that a straight hand is one made of consecutive cards, whereas flush is made of cards of a same suit. Obviously, straight flush is a combination of both and on Teen Patti it’s called Pakki Round. An example of such hand would be A-K-Q of the same suit (heart or spade or etc.)
  • Straight (Sequence) – three consecutive cards, which are not of the same suit, make a straight hand. The highest such hand is made of Ace, King and Queen, whereas the lowest of four, three and two
  • Flush (Colour) – any three cards that share the same suit present a generally strong flush hand. In case both the player and the dealer get a flush, then the highest card in the combination is the one that gives the winner
  • Pair (Double) – any two cards of the same rank make a pair. When comparing pairs it is important to pay attention to both the pair as well as to the third card. In case the pair is identical, the winner is the one that holds the higher in rank third card
  • High card – finally, the last hand is called no pair and its name is pretty self-explanatory. When neither the player nor the dealer hold a pair, the one that has the highest card wins.

Teen Patti Gameplay

Just like all other poker games, Teen Patti begins by placing a bet. Usually, there is a set amount that has to be wagered prior the dealing of the cards. Once the player has placed the bet, the dealer starts dealing the face-down cards.

Once the player and the dealer receive their three cards, the next phase is making a call or a raise. Poker players are familiar with both these terms; call means that the player stays in the game, but doesn’t increase their bet. Raise is adding cash in the pot and therefore risking to either win or lose more than the initial wager.

However, it is important to point out that betting on Teen Patti is different from betting on other poker games. Teen Patti requires that all wagers should be even amounts; this means that if, for example, a player has placed a bet of 2 coins and then another player wagers 4 coins, the previous player must place additional 4 coins instead of adding only 2 to the former 2.

It is interesting that both call and raise on Teen Patti are often referred to as chaal.

Playing Moves

There are five recognizable Teen Patti moves. Below you can find all of them explained, even though not all of them are applicable to online Teen Patti games:

  • Blind play – playing blind means that the player hasn’t seen their cards and they are placing bets by simply guessing its hand’s strength
  • Play or chaal phase – players can see their cards at any time and decide their next move. However, at certain tables in land-based casinos it is considered fair to see and fold only when it’s your turn to play
  • Sideshow – sideshow is asking to see other players’ cards after you’ve seen yours. However, players have the right to either accept or decline that request, depending on their strategy as well as hand. The requesting player then has to wager in order to stay in the game
  • Tie – if all players refuse to show their hands, then this situation shall be handled as tie i.e. the pot shall be shared between the players since a winner cannot be chosen
  • Show – in case players decide to show their cards, then the gameplay continues until all but one player at the table pack; that one player collects the pot. Another option is for two players not to pack, in which case the one with the better hand is considered a winner.

Probabilities of the Game

Even though the probabilities of the game depend on the variation of Teen Patti played, the standard version offers the following probabilities: no pair 74.39%; pair 16.94%; flush 4.96%; straight 3.26%; straight flush 0.22% and three of a kind 0.24%.

Teen Patti Variations

There are numerous Teen Patti variations that keep the gameplay fresh. The versions that are considered most popular are:

  1. 2-3-5 (Deuce-To-Five : Do-teen-paanch ) : The highest straight here is considered to be 2-3-5
  2. Muflis : Player with the lowest card rank is a winner. This is essentially the opposite to the regular game
  3. AK47 - This game is played with Joker, so Ace King 4 and 7 are used as Jokers in the game. Any player having these can replace them for any of their cards
  4. Joker -Joker card is opened on the table and all cards of the same pip value (irrespective of suits) are treated as equal jokers
  5. Best of Four - In this variation, players get 4 cards and then keeps the best of three only

How are Sitago’s Skill Games for Money Different from Gambling Games of Chance?

Playing skill games for money is different from gambling games of chance in a few different ways. Number one, in a game of skill, you need to know what you’re doing. You have more control over the game because you are constantly making decisions that impact the outcome, and very little is left to chance.

3 patti online game real money instantly

Think of an online arcade-style game like Asteroids, where you need quick reflexes and maybe a little bit of foresight to really bump up your score. Another example is online Scrabble, where your ability to form words from a random set of letters is pitted against the skills of another online player.

That’s another big difference between games of skill and games of chance. In a game of chance, you can play against a computer and sometimes win, because your chances of winning are in the luck of the draw.

In a game of skill, however, instead of playing against a computer that can find solutions quickly (usually much more quickly than a human can), you can compete against real people—in real time. Those people are usually matched with you because they have a skill set that’s similar to your own. It makes the game a real competition, and the winner has definitely earned the prize.

One final area of difference between games of chance and games of skill is the way that governing bodies look at them. In some areas, gambling on games of chances is against the law, while earning money through games of skill isn’t always seen as gambling.

While every state has its own laws about gambling and you should definitely check them out, there aren’t any federal laws against betting money on games of skill online. It’s the competition and skill aspects that make the difference.

Who can play skill games for money?

Generally speaking, if you have an internet connection, a computer that will run the games, and a way to pay for the games, you’re good to go. However, if you’re playing for real money in the United States, you have to be at least 18 years old. Players with fewer years can sometimes play for non-cash prizes.

As always, you should check your state laws to make sure there aren’t other age restrictions and to make sure that playing skill games online for money is legal in your state. If the skill gaming site you choose is legitimate, such as Sitago, you won’t be allowed to play if you live in an area where online skill gaming for money is illegal.

Beyond that, you never know who you’ll be competing with. You may end up playing with someone from across the world.

Sitago’s Card Games for Money

Patti

For a card game to show up on a site like Sitago, it has to be a game where players can show real skill.

There’s real strategy involved. A hint of danger. Remember, you’re competing against real-life opponents. What will you do with the hand you’re dealt?

  • UFS: In Universal Fighting Style (UFS), you’ll pi your best warrior cards from a variety of different fighting worlds. Think Street Fighter vs. Mortal Combat and more—you’ll need to choose which cards to use when to make the most impact and score big in the game.

What Else is Out There?

Sitago has more exciting play-for-money skill games coming. Here are some game categories to watch for—build your skills while you wait so you’ll be ready for these opportunities when they arrive!

Casino-style Cards in an online format

Because Poker is as much (or more) a game of chance than a game of skill, it isn’t always included in the list of card games you can play for money. The best poker games to play online as a skill game for winning money include Texas Hold ‘em and Omaha, where you’re playing against other players and you are using strategy more than you’re relying on luck.

Spades and Rummy can also be played online for money. Solitaire-style games such as FreeCell and Spider also work well. In the solitaire scenario, you play alone but your score is compared to the scores of other real-life players with similar skill who are dealt the same hand that you are. The player with the highest score wins the round.

Board Games for Money

3 Patti Online Game Real Money Instantly

When you’re playing board games for money, sites like Sitago will pit you against players who have a similar skill set to your own.

Overall, there’s a wide variety of board games that people can play online, such as Chess, Backgammon, Checkers, Monopoly, and Draughts. The types of board games chosen for skill games for money are often focused on the players’ ability to make decisions to prove their skill, such as buying property in Monopoly or strategically moving pieces in Chess or Checkers.

Sitago will be adding some of these types of games soon, so keep your eyes open for the fun!

It’s important to note that some games of skill, such as Chess or Checkers, aren’t often won by real-life players who are playing against a computer. If you want a chance to win back your entry fee (and more), make sure the game site you’re using is allowing you to compete against other real-life players.

Games like Candyland, which are based almost purely on chance, can’t prove that the player has any skill at all. You won’t see these kinds of board games on a site that hosts playing skill games for money. This has to do with the legality issues of playing a game of skill for money vs. playing a game of chance for money.

Game Show Games for Money

In a real-life casino, there are games based on game shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Family Feud, Catch-21 or The Price is Right. These are based almost purely on chance, such as game-show themed slot machines.

In the online world where you play skill games for money, luck isn’t as much a part of the equation. In these games, you’re actually playing the game. You play against other real-life players online.

In many situations, your score is transferred to a point system by the site that’s hosting the game. You can exchange the points you earn for non-cash prizes or, if you’re more than 18 years old, you can trade them in for tickets in a cash drawing.

Trivia Games for Money

Like puzzle games, trivia games rely a lot more on skill and a lot less on chance than some of the other types of online skill games. In a trivia game, a player’s knowledge is tested. This can be either detailed knowledge in specific areas or a wide, general knowledge across a broad range of categories.

These games are often set up as quizzes. Sometimes points will go to the first person who answers correctly. In other games, you have to answer all the questions right to get into a winner’s circle, where prize money is distributed. Some are set up in tournaments.

Examples of trivia games that can be played online for money include Quezztion, Total Trivia and SatoshiQuiz. There are also crossover games, such as Jeopardy, which combines a trivia skill game with a game show skill game.

Word Games for Money

Word games are a lot like puzzle games, only they’re focused completely on words. Your skill at putting words together, seeing new combinations and thinking quickly under pressure can all be tested.

These are often played tournament style. They can also be set up so that your score can be used in a point system, which allows you to choose prizes rather than wait to be in a winning tier to get a part of a cash pot.

Examples of word games that you can play for money include Word Mojo, Bookworm, and Alphabet Soup. Scrabble is a word game that’s also based on a board game, so depending on the online gaming site you’re using, it could be categorized either way.

Are Real Money Skill Game Sites Legal Worldwide?

Just as some states have laws against playing online skill games for money, so do some countries. This shouldn’t be an issue if you are gaming from an area where online skill games aren’t interpreted as gambling.

In most countries, playing online skill games for money is legal even when online gambling isn’t.
